Cold plunges
Our ice baths sit at around 5 & 9°C and are used to reduce muscle soreness, inflammation, and fatigue after physical exercise. The cold temperature helps constrict blood vessels, limiting swelling and flushing out metabolic waste products. The alternation between heat and cold exposure in contrast therapy, which includes methods like saunas and cold plunges, causes the body to move between vasodilation (expansion of blood vessels) and vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels).
